Higher or Lower is the endless one. Two Pokémon characters are shown side by side; the left one shows their power level, the right one hides it, and you say whether the hidden number is higher or lower. Get it right and the right-hand card slides across and a new challenger appears. Get it wrong and the run is over.

There are no lives and no timer — just a chain that keeps going until you break it, and a rank ladder that climbs alongside it. Eleven ranks run from Rookie Trainer at zero up through Gym Leader, Elite Four Member, Champion and Pokémon Master to The Strongest at forty-seven correct calls in a row.

How to play Higher or Lower

Each round names the hidden character and asks whether their power level is higher or lower than the one on display. Press Higher or Lower; the hidden number is revealed in green if you were right and red if you were not.

A correct call promotes the challenger to the left-hand slot and deals a new one, so the comparison is always against the character you just judged. The pool never repeats a character until it has run through everyone, and the game never deals two characters with identical power levels.

One mistake ends the run. You get twelve runs a day, your best run of the day is the one that is kept, and only your first submission takes a place on the daily leaderboard.

Calling it right more often

Anchor on the number you can see, not on how strong you think the pair is. The displayed value is a combat power expanded from an internal rating onto a steep curve, which means the top of the roster is spread across thousands of points while most of the cast is bunched together near the bottom — so a mid-tier comparison is genuinely close, and a legendary against anyone is not.

Use role as a proxy when you do not know a character. Champions, Elite Four members and legendary Pokémon sit near the ceiling; companions, minor rivals and early-region trainers sit low. Guessing the band a character belongs to is usually easier than recalling their exact rating.

When the anchor is already extreme, take the obvious side. If the visible number is very high, "lower" is right far more often than instinct suggests, and the same in reverse — most of the roster lives in the middle, so the tails are where the free points are.

Frequently asked questions

How many mistakes can I make?

One. The first wrong call ends the run, which is why the streak counter and the rank ladder are the whole score.

Is there a time limit on a round?

No. There is no clock at all — you can take as long as you want on each comparison.

How many runs do I get per day?

Twelve. Your best run of the day is kept, so a bad follow-up never overwrites a good score.

What are the ranks?

Eleven tiers, from Rookie Trainer through Trainer, Skilled Trainer, Ace Trainer, Gym Challenger, Gym Leader, Elite Four Member, Champion, Pokémon Master and The Chosen One up to The Strongest at a forty-seven streak.

What happens if two characters have the same power level?

They are never paired — the game always draws a challenger with a different value, so no round is a coin flip.
